This year Caistor Roman Project excavation is taking place between August 12th and 26th in the grounds of Caistor Hall Hotel, by kind permission of Brasted’s.

Public tours of the excavations will be available 16th-19th August and 21st-24th August. Admission is free (although donations are welcome) but all those intending to visit must book on Eventbrite and bring proof of booking to be admitted.
There will be one tour per day, starting at 2 p.m., and for Health and Safety reasons numbers will be limited.

Booking is via Eventbrite using the following link:

Parking is courtesy of Caistor Hall Hotel, at the Caistor Lane end of their car park, from where visitors will be directed to the dig site. Anyone with accessibility problems should be aware that the ground at the site is very uneven.
