Test Pitting opportunity at Friston Field in June
As mentioned at the recent members’ meeting, we shall be undertaking some preliminary test pitting on Friston field. The work will initially take place on the weekend of 25th/26th June. As well as ‘seasoned campaigners’ we’d be very pleased to hear from anyone who wants to understand the digging process better- there will be opportunities to learn more about planning and record keeping on a less vigorous scale than on the summer dig.

Barn Reopens on 13th June
The CRP Barn reopens from Monday 13th June on Mondays and Thursdays from 09.30 to 12 ish as normal.
We will be mostly cataloguing the finds from the Mausoleum dig last month and preparing for the Summer work plus a couple of maintenance tasks
