I was so sorry to hear of the crime that has been reported in the news recently ( EDP 11th October’22) I have been a Member and have walked the Caister Roman site with my Labrador for 8 yrs for which I am incredibly appreciative .
Is is not at all possible to allow a riverside walk accessible safely ?
Hello Mary – my apologies for the delay in replying and yes it is very sad.
The site as Caistor belongs to the Norfolk Archaeology Trust who set out the rules for access so its probably best to contact them directly.
Their website can be accessed from the CRP site
Best regards
Andy
